Even though the numbers are 'random', they do follow the same frequency trends over long periods of time. The 1st PDF is the history of every pick back to day one. The 2nd PDF is a chart that shows the number of games since a particular number has been picked. The 3rd PDF shows the trend for all numbers going back 343 games.......why 343? With 42 numbers and 6 numbers picked each game, each number should be picked once every 7 games. There for, all calculations are based on multiples of 7 and 7x7x7=343 games. During the initial trending analysis, I discovered that if you look at the long term (2000+ games) frequency for any given number, you will see that it has an average of seven. After they switched to the new computerized number generators, you can actually see a change in the patterns. I track the numbers three different ways, as well as the sum and odd/even. One way I track them is by the spread (1-14, 15-28, 29-42). Another by whether it's due or not due and almost due. And whether it's a high frequency number, an average number or low frequency number. Each group has one third of the numbers. I use a red font for high average, green for average and blue for low.
I can generate quick-picks with all random numbers or a set of seven quick-picks of random numbers using each number only once. I even have a script that generate a random PowerBall quick-pick. I also have a specialized script that will generate a set of seven that uses each number only once and it will have at least one number in each of the different catagories. A review of the winning numbers will reveal that my special script tries to match those number combinations.
Here are some interesting facts about the Lotto. If you add up the six numbers, the lowest possible sum is 21 and the highest would be 237. The average is 129 and the actual average is 128. Three is the average for odd/even and that is exactly what the average is. 95% of the time, the sum is between 90 and 165. 95% of the time the 2nd number is below 21 and the last number is above 29. There are usually at least 10 games in between winners and 20 games in between would be about average lately.
